Vincent Burke, III

Vincent Burke III is currently a Senior Advisor of Brown Advisory, a leading independent investment management firm. He previously served as Managing Director of Bank of Georgetown and as Partner at the law firm Furey, Doolan & Abell, LLP in Chevy Chase, MD. Mr. Burke earned his law degree from the Catholic University of American Columbus School of Law and an undergraduate degree from the College of Holy Cross.

He has been an active leader in the Washington, DC community for many years, volunteering his time to numerous non-profit and service organizations. He is chairman, president and trustee of the Clark-Winchcole Foundation, a charitable foundation; vice president and trustee of The Supreme Court Historical Society; a trustee of the Sibley Memorial Hospital Foundation; a board member of HEROES, Inc.; chairman of the Monumental Scholars Fund, and formerly served as chairman of the board for the Consortium of Catholic Academies and a member of the board of directors for several area non-profits, including the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington and the Christ Child Society.

Patrick Dorton

Patrick Dorton is a public affairs communications expert with extensive experience in corporate, financial, public policy, and political strategy and messaging. He is currently a Partner at Rational 360, a full service strategic communications firm in Washington, DC. He is an experienced spokesperson who has been quoted in more than 2,000 news stories during the past several years. Mr. Dorton served as a senior strategic advisor in the White House and for U.S. Senators, Congressmen, and the Senate Agriculture Committee and has directed fully integrated communications campaigns on behalf of companies and non-profits. Mr. Dorton has provided high-level counsel to companies and organizations such as RR Donnelley, Arthur Andersen, and KPMG; advised numerous Washington trade associations on sensitive PR situations; and worked on a wide variety of issues, including financial services, health care and medical research, business transactions, agriculture policy and education, human resources, tax policy, international trade, land use, privacy, aviation, and military defense.

Pinkie Dent Mayfield

Pinkie Dent Mayfield is Chief Communications Officer and Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Graham Holdings Company (formerly The Washington Post Company) where she is a key member of the executive team responsible for corporate affairs, public relations, communications, strategic initiatives and advising the chairman on matters of special interest. A seasoned finance executive, Mayfield previously served as the Vice President of Corporate Solutions, responsible for leadership and management of the company’s largest procurement contracts. She joined the company in 1998 as the Corporate Cash Manager, and she became the Assistant Treasurer in 1999.

Prior to joining Graham Holdings, Mayfield was a Vice President and Trust Officer at NationsBank (now Bank of America) in the Investment Services Division as part of the Foundations & Endowments Group. She began her career with Prudential-Bache Securities.

With a strong commitment to community service focused on the advancement of women and children through education, Mayfield currently chairs the board of the Washington Area Women’s Foundation. She serves on board of directors of the District of Columbia College Access Program (DC-CAP), the Arlington Chamber of Commerce and the Bullis School. She is also a trustee of the Philip L. Graham Fund and is a past chair of Leadership Greater Washington (Class of 2001).

Honored with the Washington Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business Award (2013), Mayfield also received an Honorary Doctor of Laws (2016) from her alma mater, Trinity Washington University, where she previously served on the board of trustees.

Mayfield graduated magna cum laude with a BA in business administration from Trinity Washington University, and earned an MBA from the University of Maryland University College. She and her husband, Carl A. Mayfield, live in Washington, DC, with their two children.

Martin McCarthy

Mr. McCarthy has 18 years of experience in banking and real estate including underwriting experience. Mr. McCarthy has served as Senior Vice President, Commercial Real Estate and C&I Lending at Revere Bank, headquartered in Rockville, MD. From October 2010 until its sale in September 2016, Mr. McCarthy served as Vice President, Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer at Bank of Georgetown where he was also responsible for the management of a commercial real estate loan portfolio. Prior to joining the Bank of Georgetown, Mr. McCarthy worked as Associate Director at the mortgage banking firm, Holliday Fenoglio Fowler, L.P. Mr. McCarthy earned a B.A. degree in Political Science from Lehigh University, is a graduate of ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking, University of Pennsylvania, and earned the Wharton Leadership Certificate for Executive Leadership in Banking. Mr. McCarthy has been and is currently active on a number of boards and committees for various organizations in the WMA area since 2002. Mr. McCarthy currently serves on the Sibley Memorial Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees & The Father McKenna Center Board of Directors.

Obiora (Bo) Menkiti

Obiora (Bo) Menkiti is the Founder and CEO of The Menkiti Group, a real estate company and is Vice Chairman of the Board at City First Bank of DC. The Menkiti Group is focused on strengthening neighborhoods through the strategic development, management, and disposition of real estate in urban markets. Mr. Menkiti also serves as CEO and is the Founding Partner of Keller Williams Capital Properties, (KWCP) a residential real estate brokerage managed by The Menkiti Group. Prior to forming The Menkiti Group and KWCP, Mr. Menkiti served as Chief Operating Officer of College Summit, a national non-profit organization dedicated to increasing the college enrollment rate of low-income students. In this capacity, Mr. Menkiti oversaw the organization’s successful growth into a multi-site national organization.

Mr. Menkiti has served as a Director at CFBanc Corporation and City First Bank of DC and is currently Vice Chairman of the Board at City First Bank. He is also a former Director of WashingtonFirst Bankshares, Inc. and WashingtonFirst Bank.

David Pollin

Dave Pollin is the co-founder and president of the Buccini/Pollin Group (BPG), a full-service real estate acquisition, development and management company headquartered in Chevy Chase, MD. He also serves as chairman of PM Hotel Group, the hotel management affiliate of BPG. Mr. Pollin leads the firms' hotel acquisition, development, and capital markets efforts. In years past, Pollin served on the Federal City Council of Washington, DC; Starwood Hotels & Resorts North American Owner's Advisory Council; and the Owner Advisory Council of Hilton's Embassy Suites brand. Mr. Pollin was a founding board member of Monument Bank of Maryland and currently an advisory board member of Revere Bank in Maryland ; co-founder and president of the Board of Starlight Children's Foundation MidAtlantic; and regional chair of the Northeast U.S. Region of the Young Presidents Organization.

Kelly Shooshan O’Shea is the CEO of Shooshan Company, a real estate investment and development company in Arlington, VA. Prior to joining the Shooshan Company in 2003, Ms. Shooshan O’Shea was an Investment Analyst for Medical Office Properties, Inc., focusing on underwriting portfolio acquisitions. Ms. Shooshan O’Shea also worked as a Financial Analyst for Spaulding and Slye (currently Jones Lang LaSalle ) in the structured finance group.

She is a graduate of Georgetown University earning a Masters degree in Professional Studies in Real Estate, Real Estate Finance and a BS degree in Health Science.

Charlie Tate was the President of Tate & Tryon, PC, an accounting and consulting firm based in Washington, D.C., until its acquisition in 2020 by RSM US, LLP, one of the 10th largest independent public accounting and advisory firms in the nation, where he was a Partner and Office Leader until his retirement in 2023. Mr. Tate previously served as a director of EagleBank and participated in the Audit and ALCO Committees. He has a CPA certificate from the District of Columbia and Maryland. He has been an active leader in the Washington, DC community throughout his career, volunteering his time to numerous non-profit organizations.
